GU Ventures manage several strategic projects to develop and strengthen our own core business as well as the overall environement around us and our companies. Our projects focus on areas such as sustainability, digitalisation, internationalization, industry collaboration and quality improvment. Mobility Booster supports future mobility innovations, strengthening a competitive and sustainable business ecosystem in West Sweden. Led by GU Ventures with key partners, it offers startups and scaleups tailored support, workshops, and insights on technology, growth, sustainability, and financing.

Skills 2 Grow is part of the Interreg Öresund–Kattegat–Skagerrak programme and is co-funded by the European Union. Interreg Öresund–Kattegat–Skagerrak (ÖKS) supports cross-border cooperation between Danish, Swedish and Norwegian regions. The programme aims to strengthen innovation capacity, sustainable growth and regional competitiveness by addressing shared societal challenges across borders. Through this framework, Skills 2 Grow contributes to a more integrated and functional labour market in Southern Scandinavia. By improving startups’ ability to recruit and retain talent across national borders, the project supports increased mobility, better job matching and stronger collaboration between regional innovation ecosystems.
"KRAFT" gathers forces to strengthen the supply of capital to start-up and scale-up companies in our region in collaboration with investors, industry and ecosystem actors. our region will become more well-known for anyone who is looking for opportunities as well as finding resources to start and scale their company.
Whithin the “KRAFT” project, one of the most visible activities is the “Gowest” event, AN annual venture capital forum for investors, start-ups and scale-ups.

Financial Design for Startups, "FDS", is also part of KRAFT and is a training program in Financial Design modelling for entrepreneurs in startups, incubator coaches, business developers, board members, mentors, etc. The program is launched and established in collaboration with the GU Ventures team and serial entrepreneur, author and researcher Per Hulthén, who aims to strengthen expertise in the long-term capitalization of startups and create better exits achieved by Swedish entrepreneurial companies.

New Modality Support, "NMS" — a collaboration between Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, Sahlgrenska University Hospital and GU Ventures, was established recently, with the mission to support the commercial development of research projects within the national drug development initiatives OligoNova and CCRM Nordic.
