From Founding to Exit: New Training Program on Strategic Financing for Startups - Dec 2025
GU Ventures is launching a new training program for incubator coaches and startups: Financial Design for Startups (FDS). The program is led by serial entrepreneur and researcher Per Hulthén and aims to strengthen expertise in the long-term capitalization of startups and how we can create better exits in the Swedish entrepreneurial ecosystem.
What You Will Gain
For two intensive days, participants will work through the key challenges of startup financing and value creation, including:
- How to help entrepreneurs set a long-term financing strategy – from start to exit
- The startup lifecycle: the dynamics of each phase and how to maximize value creation
- How to build a solid pitch deck and optimize funding rounds
- Outcome differences between Swedish startups and international counterparts (USA, Israel, UK)
- The most common causes of failure – and how to reduce risks
- Negotiation theory: valuation, terms, and strategies to avoid common pitfalls
- And last, but not least, about the exit process and the journey with the investors who invest their capital
